A corrupt nation

Bangladesh is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We have a bright history, colourful culture, and serene nature. Many people sacrificed their lives to establish our right to speak our mother language in 1952. Thirty million people sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War in 1971. But today, Bangladesh is one of the most corrupt countries of the world. Crimes, corruption, lawlessness have made us a crippled nation. We blame the leaders and others for this situation. But we often forget our own duties. It is the educated people who are responsible for this situation. The majority of the population are illiterate farmers who contribute a lot to our economy.
