Oxygen plant

Scientists are still exploring as to how the dinosaurs became extinct million of years ago. Some believe they were struck by meteorites falling from the skies, yet others believe disappearance of the female species led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Perhaps we all know that living beings, including human beings, require oxygen for survival and we get this essential element in the atmosphere from plants and trees. The front-page story 'Trees dying in Dhaka', published on 12.11.10 by your esteemed daily, is very distressing and alarming. It is not only the death of a few hundred trees. If the trees continue to die like this, I am afraid we shall be left with no oxygen to breathe. This is not just a freak of nature; these are dire warnings form the Almighty. The Creator shall not appear in person to punish the wrong doers; rather, He shall engage the forces of nature to do the job.
