Eid and people in distress
The Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated much the same way it is every year. The rich enjoyed every bit of the occasion, while the poor observed the show of pomp.
I think we should think about what happened in the country last month. People were uprooted by the devastating cyclone. Thousand were killed and there were the mind-boggling scenes of the dead awaiting burial.
We should not be carried away by the thoughts of our own aggrandizement only.
