45 shops gutted in Ctg
At least 45 shops were gutted in seperate fire incidents in Lohagara and Fatikchhari upazilas yesterday.
Local fire service said 25 shops were gutted in a fire, which originated from an electric short circuit at a shop in Munsef Bazar at Lohagara upazila around 4:25am.
On information, Satkania fire service personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire with the help of locals around 5:30am.
In another incident, locals said at least 20 shops were gutted in a fire originating from an electric short circuit at Munshir Bazaar in Fatikchhari upazila around 3:00am.
Later, local people doused the fire.
