NU teachers, staff threaten tougher movement
Teachers and employees of National University yesterday threatened to go for tougher movement if the authority proceeds with its plan to terminate employees appointed after 2003.
They also placed their 17-point-demand to vice-chancellor, including shunning plan to dismiss 1105 teachers, officials and staff appointed during BNP-led 4-party rule in 2001-06.
Speakers at a rally said they will stage another protest rally at 11:00am today on the campus from where their next course of action will be announced.
Later they submitted their charter of demands to the VC.
