Quamrul gets death threat

State Minister for Law Quamrul Islam yesterday received death threat over phone. A caller using a foreign telephone operator's number threatened him to halt his recent activities, otherwise their death squad will kill him, the minister told The Daily Star. "I received the call at about 9:43am while I was heading toward Rajarbagh Police Lines to attend the programme of Police Week. The caller identified himself as Maulana Zahit Amir, chief of Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba,” said Quamrul. He said the caller number was +65600011111.
