Concern over BSF firing
Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) yesterday expressed concern over the ongoing tension in Anantapur border area following the death of a Bangladeshi citizen shot by Border Guard Force (BSF) of India, says a press release.
They said thousands of people staged protests over the killing at Anantapur border of Fulbari upazila in Kurigram district.
ASK said BSF did not stop shooting ordinary people in the border areas despite their assurances.
In a seperate statement, Jatiya Muktijoddha Parishad also condemned BSF killing around 200 Bangladeshis.
They also demanded government to take fruitful action and diplomatic measures to stop such killings.
