'Punish Sunny's killers'

Bangladesh Chhatra Moitri (BCM) yesterday demanded government for immediate arrest of Sunny's killers and ensure exemplary punishment of the culprits. Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists allegedly assassinated Rezwanul Islam Chowdhury Sunny, BCM vice president of Rajshahi Polytechnic, in a clash on January 07, 2010. Several activists of BCM demonstrated in front of Aparajeyo Bangla and paraded streets of Dhaka University (DU). At a rally later, they claimed that killer Nizam and Tushar were arrested but freed after a few days and trial process is now slacking. BCM General Secretary Tanvir Rusmat, DU BCM President Abdul Hamid, Rafiqul Islam Jahid and Manoz Baroi spoke at the programme with BCM President Bappa Dipto Basu in the chair.
