Conspiracy on against country: Dr Malek
General Secretary of Bangabandhu Parishad Dr SA Malek yesterday said enemies of liberation, being owners of huge wealth, continued conspiracy against the country
through creating anarchy.
He said while presiding over a discussion, organised by Bangabandhu Parishad marking historic 'Homecoming Day' of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Jatiya Press Club in the city.
Newly elected president of the Dhaka University Teachers Association Dr Anwar Hossain, Khandakar Ibrahim Khaled, Syed Rezaur Rahman, Syed Hasan Imam, journalist Shafiqur Rahman, Mahbub Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram, Advocate Didar Ali and Motiur
Rahman Laltu also spoke at the discussion.
Dr Malek said independence of Bangladesh got totality on that day when Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman returned to his sovereign homeland from a Pakistani prison in 1972.
He said enemies of the liberation made the country leaderless by assassinating Bangabandhu and his family only after three and half years of the independence. "The killers didn't stop only making the country leaderless, they had pushed Bangladesh into darkness through falsehood," he said.
Mentioning that last BNP-Jamaat alliance promoted elements of anti-liberation force at every sector of administration, Dr Malek urged all to work unitedly with the highest caution.
