Youth found murdered in city

Police recovered bloodstained body of an unidentified youth from inside an under-construction building at Badda in the city yesterday. The youth was aged about 32. The body bearing stab marks on the head and abdomen was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue. Sub-inspector Babul Hossain of Badda Police Station quoted the said the caretaker of the building as saying the body was laid in a room of the house with the door ajar. Janitor Nazrul Islam said four youths rented a room in the house on January 1. They have been absconding since the incident, he added. Police suspect the body might be of one of the four youths or some outsider brought the victim to the spot and fled the place after killing him.
