Khaleda distributes blankets

Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia distributes winter clothes among the destitute in the footpaths of Banani yesterday.

Leader of the Opposition in Parliament BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia distributed blankets among the poor and homeless people in various parts of the city in the early hours yesterday. At around 12:45 am, Khaleda started the humanitarian aid distribution near Banani field by distributing blankets among about 600 poor people sleeping on footpaths. Later, she distributed more blankets at Sonargaon Hotel crossing, Panthapath, Green Road and Tejgaon till about 2:45am. Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka, Abdus Salam and Shirin Sultana, Amirul Islam Alim and BNP chairperson's press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan and Abdul Kaium were present on the occasion.
