Stalker jailed in Lalmonirhat
A mobile court here in Patgram upazila on Thursday evening sentenced a youth to one month in prison for stalking a class VII student.
The convicted is Zinnat Hossain, 25, son of Rafiqul Islam of Rahmanpur Melabari village in the upazila. Police said Rafiqul stalked the class VII student of Dhabolsuti High School when the girl was returning home from school.
Locals caught Rafiqul and informed police. Patgram UNO Harunur Rashid who headed the mobile court sentenced him the imprisonment in presence of locals.
