The three-member probe committee on last month's violence that killed three people in Ramgarh submitted its report yesterday. Findings of the committee, however, were not immediately known. “I've yet to study the report. I can give details of the findings after I go through it,” Anis ul Hoque Bhuiyan, deputy commissioner of Khagrachhari, told The Daily Star yesterday evening. Probe committee chief Md Salauddin also refused to comment on the report. Two other members were Delwar Hossain Saidee, additional superintendent of police, and Gopal Chandra Dash, Ramgarh upazila nirbahi officer. Mentionable, three Bangalee settlers were killed and at least others 20 injured in a deadly clash between indigenous people and Bangalee settlers at Chhankhola Para in Ramgarh over a land dispute on April 17.
