Man shot in city
Unidentified miscreants shot a 50-year-old man at Rathkhola in Sutrapur of the city yesterday.
Mohammad Hanif, the bullet-hit man, was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after he was shot in the right leg around 3:00pm.
Hanif lives in Bandar area of Narayanganj.
He came to Rathkhola, where he used to sell milk four years ago, to seek some financial assistance from an advocate.
As he was waiting in front of the advocate's house, two unknown youths arrived there and fired two shots at him. One bullet hit his leg.
The cause for the shooting was yet to be known.
