Kiln workers: None arrested yet in confinement case
Police have yet to arrest any of the four persons accused in a case filed for confining 19 workers of a brickfield for 15 days in Fatikchari, Chittagong.
One of the victim workers lodged the case against the owner and three others with Fatikchari Police Station on Thursday.
Masud Alam, sub-Inspector of the police station and investigation officer of the case, said they are conducting drives in different areas to detain the accused.
The 19 workers of Aziz Modern Brickfield were kept confined from April 28 to May 12 by its owner at Paindong in Fatikchhari upazila.
