President hosts reception for Buddhists

President Zillur Rahman hosted a reception for the members of Buddhist Community at Bangabhaban yesterday afternoon on the occasion of Buddha Purnima, the biggest religious festival of the community. Industries Minister Dilip Barua, State Minister for Religious Affairs Adv M Shahjahan Miah, ambassadors and high commissioners of different countries including Thailand and Sri Lanka and representatives of various international organisations and professionals of Buddhist community attended the reception. The president welcomed the guests and exchanged greetings with them. Secretaries to the president's office were present on the occasion.
