In a unique gesture Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approached BNP activists who gathered in front of her hotel in Toronto on Saturday afternoon and listened to them. PM's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told the news agency that the BNP activists gathered in front of her hotel to stage demonstration. Seeing the BNP supporters standing in front of her hotel, the prime minister went to them, inquired about their well being and listened to what they wanted to say. Hasina also asked her personal officers to entertain them with food at her hotel. Hasina arrived in Canada on May 18 after attending two UN conferences in Geneva. According to her schedule, she will leave Canada for France on May 24 and return to Dhaka on May 28.
