Obituary
GM Yakub, a permanent member of the Jatiya Press Club and former senior sub-editor of the Dainik Sangbad, passed away at his Mirpur residence in the city yesterday due to cancer at the age of 64, says a press release. He left behind his wife, three sons and a daughter to mourn his death. Yakub started his career as a journalist of the Dainik Sangbad on January 1 in 1971.
