Hanging body recovered in city
Police recovered the hanging body of a woman from her bedroom at Zoarshahara of Badda in the city on Friday night.
The deceased is Lucky Begum, 20, wife of Mohammad Mehdi, an employee of a buying house. She had a 16-day-old baby boy.
Police said they broke the window of the tin-shed house around 8:30pm and recovered the body as locals informed them.
Police suspected that she committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling with her scurf.
Her husband was not at home and they could not reach him over phone as it was switched off, said police.
