Dump cattle leftovers in Eid properly
Ministry urges all
The environment and forests ministry have requested all organisations and individuals to properly dispose of leftovers of cattle to be sacrificed in the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
The made the call at an inter-ministerial meeting at the ministry on Thursday, said a press release.
It also decided to raise awareness towards the issue through loudspeakers and by distributing 1.5 lakh leaflets across the country.
Special messages would also be disseminated through newspapers and television channels.
