PM assures BGB of development
During a surprise visit to Panbari Border Out Post (BOP) at Patgram upazila in Lalmonirhat, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed to upgrade the Dahagram High School to collegiate school.
She made the visit after addressing a rally on October 19.
The PM asked Commander Lt Col Aslam Hossain of Battalion-31 of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) to take necessary steps to upgrade the school as directed.
She assured BGB all sorts of assistance for overall development of the force in a bid to keep the border safe, said a BGB press release
Welcomed by Major General Anwar Hossain, BGB director general, at the BOP, Sheikh Hasina talked to the BGP personnel posted there. She also signed the inspection book kept at the BOP.
