Man kills wife, father-in-law
A man along with his accomplice allegedly killed his wife and father-in-law at Pirpur village of Nachole upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday.
The victims were identified as Hasen Banu, 30, and her father Lajer Ali, 50, of the village.
Nachole Police Station Inspector Sayed Iqbal and the victim's family members said Banu's husband Moyej Uddin, 38, son of Fazer Ali of neighbouring Suryapur village, along with his four to five men went to his in-laws house around 1:30am and attacked Banu's father with sticks and sharp weapons and strangled Banu when she tried to save her father.
A murder case has been filed in this connection.
