Major reshuffle in admin

In a major reshuffle in the civil administration, the government yesterday appointed and transferred senior officials of additional and joint secretary levels. The additional secretaries who have been given new postings are--Yunusur Rahman to the public administration ministry, Mainuddin Khondoker to the home ministry, Amalendu Mukharjee to bank and financial institution division, AS Shamim Ahmed to the home ministry, KM Mozammel Haque to local government division, Abu Bakar Siddiqie as chairman of the Bangladesh petroleum corporation, Syed Mahbub Hassan as director general of the national freedom fighters' council, Dr Selina Afroz as director general at the national population research and training institute of the health and family welfare ministry, Ganendranath Biswas as executive director of the Bangladesh computer council of the science and information and communication technology ministry, AM Badruddoza as executive director of the Dhaka transport coordination board of the roads and highways division, Muzibur Rahman Hawlader as vice-chairman of the export promotion bureau of the commerce ministry and Begum Shaheen Khan as chairman of the Sparso of defence ministry. The joint secretaries who have been given new postings are -- Kazi Salahuddin Akbar to the education ministry, Mushtaq Ahmed Chowdhury to the social welfare ministry, AS Mahmood to the education ministry, Khondoker Rakibur Rahman to the industries ministry, Begum Qamrunnahar Ahmed to the banking and financial institution division, Monsur Ali Sikder to the industries ministry, Siddika Khanam to the planning division, Enamul Haque to planning division and Monjoor e Elahi to the public administration ministry, Mujibur Rahman as the member of the private teachers' registration and certification authority of the education ministry, Moshiur Rahman as project director of the European commission-funded school feeding project of the primary and mass education ministry, Abdur Razaak as director of Bangladesh textile mills corporation of the textile and jute ministry, Rofikul Alam as director of the Biwtc of the shipping ministry, Rofikul Islam as project director of the 4 textile institutes establishment project of the textile and jute ministry, Hosneara Begum as MDS of Bpatc in Savar, Abdul Kadir as project director of construction of 0.84 lakh MT capacity new food godowns with ancillary facilities at Halishahar CSD compound in Chittagong of food division, Nur Uddin Ahmed as MDS of Bpatc in Savar and Anwara Begum as chief executive officer of Chittagong city corporation of local government division.
