One held for admission forgery
Police arrested an admission forgery syndicate member at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.
Police said they arrested Shariful Islam, 21, from Shaheed Habibur Rahman Hall after its resident students detained him claiming him to be a member of the admission forgery group.
The hall students said they heard Shariful talking on the phone about leaking admission test question paper of D unit around 5:30pm in the hall.
They informed the hall authorities of the matter and handed over Shariful to the law enforcers.
