College girl dies in road accident
A teenage girl was killed after the motorcycle carrying her met with a bus coming from the opposite direction at Pangsha upazila in Rajbari yesterday.
The victim, Jui Akter, daughter of Nazrul Islam Zinna of the upazila's Kalikapur village, was a BA first-year student of Pangsha University College.
Pangsha police said a brick-laden truck hit the motorcycle in Taltala area around 9:00am leaving Jui spot dead while her uncle Azad Hossain, the motorcyclist, was injured.
