Bangladeshi cop dies in Darfur

A member of Bangladesh police, serving in United Nations' (UN) peacekeeping mission in Darfur of Africa, died on October 17. United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed his deep shock at the death of Mohammad Nasir Uddin. Ban Ki-moon also congratulated Bangladesh as it has appointed its people to UN's peacekeeping missions.
