Debate contest begins at JU

A two-day long inter-club debate competition will begin at Jahangirnagar University (JU) today. Sharkar O Rajniti Bibhag Bitorko Mancho has organised the contest with the slogan “Juktir drohay urao shotto nishan, uchchokito koro adhikarer slogan.” The department's chairman K M Mohiuddin will inaugurate the competition at the Social Science building at 9:00am. A total of 30 debating clubs comprising of public and privet universities will participate in the competition. The final round of the competition will be held at Zahir Raihan Auditorium in the university where JU Vice Chancellor Prof Shariff Enamul Kabir will be present as the chief guest on Saturday.
