Four houses gutted
A devastating fire gutted at least four houses in Badarganj upazila on Thursday.
Locals and eyewitnesses sources said the fire originated from a candle at a house continued spreading to nearby houses as it touched an LP gas cylinder.
The victims claimed property worth about Tk 50 lakh has been destroyed.
Fire Brigade sources said it took around two hours to douse the flame.
