Young man murdered
A young man was hacked to death and three others were injured in an attack by criminals on Friday night in Khanpara area under Digholia upazila. Locals said victim Nasim Sheikh, 22, was a BNP activist and son of Abdul Gani Sheikh. The murder was committed while Nasim was going home along with some of his associates after attending a milad mehfil held in the house of his relative Tipu Khan. Three of his associates severely injured in the attack are Paltu Sheikh, 22, Zakir Sheikh, 21, and Azizul, 25. They are now undergoing treatment at Digholia upazila health complex.
