Vote for the Sundarbans
Bangladesh Bank called upon the managing directors and chief executive officers of all scheduled banks to take necessary steps in motivating their staff to vote for the Sundarbans at least five times a day.
The Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest, is one of the most potential tourism sectors and would be developed if it secures a place in the Seven Wonders of the World, says a Bangladesh Bank press release yesterday.
Anyone can vote for the Sundarbans by typing SB or SUNDARBANS from their cellphone and sending it to 16333. They can also vote at www.new7wonders.com till November 11.
