Death anniversary
Today is the eighth death anniversary of freedom fighter and politician Mezbah Uddin Sabu, says a press release.
On the occasion, Muktijoddha Mezbah Uddin Sabu Smrity Sangsad, Muktijoddha Mezbah Uddin Sabu Blood Bank, and Motijheel Model School and College guardians' forum will offer prayers at his grave in the morning and hold a milad mahfil.
A discussion will also be held at Mezbah Uddin Sabu Night School in the evening.
His family will hold another milad mahfil at 54/4, South Mugda after Asr prayers.
Sabu was former general secretary of Muktijoddha Sangsad Kendrio Command Council and a sports organiser.
