DU to confer degree on Ban Ki-moon
The Dhaka University (DU) authorities will honour United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-moon with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on November 15.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique said the university academic council took the decision yesterday to confer the honour through a special convocation.
President Zillur Rahman will hand over the degree to the UN chief, the VC added.
