President to host reception
President Zillur Rahman will host a reception for high-officials of the government, diplomats and the elite of society at Bangabhaban on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha on Monday.
The reception will be held from 10.30am to 12:00 noon on the Eid day, Bangabhaban officials said yesterday.
The chief justice, former presidents, former chiefs of the caretaker governments, ministers, state ministers, advisers to the prime minister, diplomats of different countries, judges of the Supreme Court, commissioners of the national commissions, vice-chancellors, editors and senior journalists, writers, artistes, leaders of different political parties and business communities and high civil and military officials are expected to join the reception.
