Housewife beaten to death in Ctg
A housewife was allegedly beaten to death by her husband at Panwala Para under Double Mooring Police Station in the port city early yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Nasima Begum, 30, of Mollarhat in Bagerhat, said police.
The police arrested the alleged killer Nurul Amin, 40, who is a rickshaw puller.
Sources said Nurul hit Nasima in her head with a grinding stone in front of their son around 3:00am during a family feud over her alleged extra marital affair with a man.
Hearing the scream of their son, the neighbours rushed to the house and took her to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared her dead.
