Justice for Romela demanded
Sramik Karmachari Oikya Parishad (Skop) and Griha Sramik Adhikar Network yesterday demanded justice for tortured domestic help Romela, 10, and exemplary punishment of the culprits.
They demanded departmental action against assistant sub-inspector of Santhia Police Station, Ayub Ali, who refused to file a case and neutral investigation into the matter, says two separate press releases.
Romela had been working at the residence of Shahed Ali, sub-inspector of Sitakunda Police Station.
