Rehan admits crimes

Dhaka University student Ashish Karmaker Rehan yesterday confessed to a magistrate that he alone had killed his ramp model girlfriend Tahia Tabassum Adrita. Adrita was strangled at a house in Mohammadpur on October 30. Rehan described story of the killing after detective branch (DB) of police produced him at the chamber of Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Erfan Ullah. After recording his statement, the magistrate ordered to send Rehan, an honours final year student of Law department, to jail. Detectives arrested Ashish from the city on Thursday.
