Nirmal Sen meets PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina here yesterday inquired about wellbeing of elderly journalist and politician Nirmal Sen, who is suffering from paralysis and other complications.
Hasina talked to Nirmal Sen and inquired about his wellbeing during a function arranged on the occasion of inauguration of Bangabandhu Poverty Alleviation Training Academy here.
Nirmal Sen went to the function to meet the premier, who later opened the academy.
Seeing Nirmal Sen, also president of Sramik-Krishak Samajbadi Dal, Hasina sat beside his wheelchair during the function.
She asked the authorities concerned to provide a monthly allowance for the treatment of Nirmal Sen.
