Dhaka made VP of world dentists' body
The World Alliance for Mercury-Free Dentistry has named Dr Shahriar Hossain, secretary general of Environment and Social Development Organisation-ESDO, Bangladesh, as its vice-president for South Asia.
Dr Shahriar is also steering committee member of IPEN, a US-based Global NGO Network.
“We have selected Dr Shahriar Hossain at the most critical time in the history of the battle to get mercury out of dentistry,” said World Alliance for Mercury-Free Dentistry President Charles Brown, according to a press release received here from Washington yesterday.
