FAO official due in city today
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Deputy Director-General for Operations Manoj Juneja will arrive in Dhaka today on a three-day visit, said a press release.
During his visit, he will meet the ministers of foreign affairs, agriculture, finance, fisheries and livestock, food and disaster management and the state minister of environment and forest. He will also hold meetings with the UN staff and visit various projects related to food security and agriculture.
The visit of Manoj Juneja will create opportunities for further collaboration between Bangladesh and FAO, the release said.
