2 killed in clash

Two men were killed and at least 12 others injured in a fierce clash between two groups over land dispute at Choranchor in Savar yesterday. The victims were identified as Monir Hosen, of Bardeshi village in Amin Bazar and Tutul, of the area. Witnesses said local people locked into a clash with their rival group Tikka Bahini around 12:30 pm when the group came to the area to take possession of the disputed land, leaving the two dead and 12 others injured. The injured were admitted to local hospitals.
