Biswa Ijtema on Jan 13
The first phase of Biswa Ijtema, organised by Tabligh-e-Jamaat, will begin on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi on January 13.
Senior Tabligh member Mohammad Gias Uddin yesterday said the Ijtema will be held in two phasesthree-day eachthis year to accommodate the greater number of devotees, both from home and abroad.
Another three-day Ijtema will begin at the same venue on January 20.
Meanwhile, the preparation for holding the Ijtema has begun.
