Alamgir Kumkum hospitalised
Alamgir Kumkum, the founding president of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote and a noted filmmaker, was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Medical Hospital in the city on Thursday in critical condition, says a press release.
He is now being treated by Dr Nasimul Haque. Alamgir's family said he was suffering from different critical diseases for the last few years.
Alamgir directed around 40 movies including “Amar Jonmobhumi” which is based on the War of Liberation.
