Man slips from building, dies
A construction worker died after he had fallen from an under-construction building at west Rajabazar of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the city yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Shaheed Bepari, 40, of Ujirpur in Pirojpur district.
Police said Shaheed had slipped from the 7th floor to the first floor of the building while working there around 9:30am.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in critical condition where duty doctors declared him death.
His body was sent to the morgue of the hospital.
