Agri varsity in Rajshahi demanded
Students of different educational institutions in Rajshahi have demanded establishment of an Agriculture University in Rajshahi.
Students of different educational institutions, including Rajshahi University (RU) and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet), under the banner of 'Sarbajanin Chhatra Parishad', raised their demand at a press conference on the RU campus ahead of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's arrival in Rajshahi today.
They hoped that the Prime Minister would declare that the government would establish an Agriculture University in Rajshahi while she would address the programme of inaugurating a new female dormitory at RU named 'Bangamata Fazilatunnesa' today at about 1:55pm.
