Gold ornaments of Tk 5 lakh looted
Unidentified miscreants yesterday broke into a house in the city's East Razabazar and looted gold ornaments worth around Tk 5 lakh.
The home owner Ohidul Islam said he locked the main entrance of his house on the fifth floor of a seven-storied building and went to work in the morning.
“On my return at around 7:00pm, I found the door broken. The only thing missing was 10 tolas of gold ornaments which I kept inside a wardrobe,” he added.
