Evaluate leaders: CU BCL
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists of Chittagong University (CU) unit yesterday demanded proper evaluation of its leaders by the central committee.
Making the demand at a press conference at the office of CU Journalists' Association, they also warned to continue launch various programmes.
SM Alauddin, a BCL activist, read out the written statement.
He said only one representative from the unit has got position of vice-president in the central committee declared on November 14 while three to five people were always in the committee.
Mentionable, the BCL men also halted a CU shuttle train for around 40 minutes and closed the university's main entrance for around an hour on November 16 protesting such 'underrating'.
