Anwar Hossain
Mohammad Anwar Hossain, a noted social activist and student leader of 60s, died in Bagerhat yesterday following a cardiac arrest, said a press release.
He left behind his wife and two sons to mourn his death.
Anwar, son of late Ainuddin Ahammed of Badekarapara village, was the founding principal of Adarsha Secondary School and served Bagerhat Eye Campaign as the general secretary. He was elected general secretary of Bagerhat PC College's student union in 1962.
