2 die in city road crashes
Two people, including a boy, were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in the city yesterday.
Mohammad Mamum, 10, was critically injured as he fell down from a rickshaw in Pallabi yesterday, said police.
He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
In another accident, a bus crushed Wasim, a CNG driver, at Nayabazar in Bangshal yesterday.
He died at DMCH.
Yet another accident, four youths were injured while they were making a joy-trip by a newly bought car at Khilkhet yesterday.
The injured are car owner Monir Hossain, his friends Anisur Rahman, Kobir Ahmed, and driver Shishir.
The car hit a road roller near Khilkhet over bridge around 1:00am leaving the four injured, said police.
The injured were taken to DMCH. Police seized the car.
