Frame law to stop violence against domestic help: DMP boss
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Benazir Ahmed yesterday urged the government to enact law to stop violence against domestic help.
Domestic help always becomes the victim of torture, so the government should enact law determining the age of domestic help, their working hour and leave, he said while speaking at a discussion marking the first founding anniversary of Motijheel Thana Women Community Police on Motijheel Gymnasium ground in the city.
Home Minister Sahara Khatun, who also attended the programme, recommended introducing women community policing all over the capital to curb crimes.
