Obituary
Khaleda Khatun Chowdhury, wife of the founding vice-chancellor of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) Prof Dr Sadruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, passed away at a capital city hospital due to old age complications yesterday at the age of 74.
She left behind her husband, three daughters, a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
She was buried at her family graveyard at Fulbari in Golapganj upazila of the district following namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayers at the mosque premises attached to shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA).
